This visit establishes a “dental home” for your child. During the initial appointment, we encourage you to come back with your child. Your child will be introduced to our dental team and invited to tour the office. The doctor will perform a head and neck examination and then evaluate the health of the teeth, gums, and your child’s bite. Dental radiographs are taken only as the doctors feel they are necessary. The doctors and team will teach you and your child about disease prevention, brushing/flossing techniques, and will discuss with you any dental issues directly.
